Dragon shifters, yum. It took me a while to warm up to the hero Lorenzo, who has lived life for himself and denied his ties to the Pyr (but refused the Slayers as well) but Lorenzo's initial 'jerkness' actually gave him room to grow and I ended up liking that the 'mates' didn't start out perfect for each other either though there was enough of a hook to draw them back together.

So, I really liked Flashfire even though some bits at the start and finish made me feel a bit sad for some background characters and I am looking forward to the next one and wondering how many Pyr are left to fulfill their destiny.

The love story in this book is amazing. I want to say the best of this series but they have all been great. Enjoy it love it and read it. This a author has surprised me.
This book was as all of Deborah Cooke books. Very good reading and very enjoyable. It has it's own spots of laughter. And a very good plot.
I love the way she brings her all of her books I have read to life for me. I love to get lost in a book. I love reading and now that I am older I can get in a lot more.
All of these stories have been fantastic! I had not read any of them for quite a while. This is the eighth one, I think. I really enjoyed this story and the characters as always were fantastic!
I love this family.
Intrigue, romance, sex (hot steamy sex) sadness,devestation, heart break and fun,, what is there not too love about the family that faces all these life changing things and still see the benefits of loving and carng for each other is what life is all about.
I'm soooooo loving this series of dragons. Full of twist and turns intrigue romance suspense mystery action packed drama kept me on the edge of my seat throughout... I highly recommend this series. I can't seem to put them down once I start them. My hubby is missing me lately lol ♡♡♡
Lorenzo was not my favorite character- in fact I spent the beginning of the book a little ticked off at him. But I enjoyed this book as it approached it's completion. I do recommend this entire series!
This book, like the others before it, was well written. Lorenzo and Cassie's story was just as "showy" as it is in each of the stories in this line, only done in "Vegas" style. It is always a pleasure to see each of the Pry and watch as each one grows and strengthen with each story. Lorenzo is all the glitz and glamor that Cassie is not. Their firestorm is witnessed by a showroom full of people and when Lorenzo poses a final question to his audience, Cassie asks where she might find a Pry, Lorenzo dose something he never thought he would do......

I would recommend these books to anyone and can not wait for the rest in the series.
