Both books in this series have been great. The characters are all so much fun. The Brannock brothers are hot! And yes, I'm including Lucas because he's family.

Conall is a cop whose new job is to protect a witness for an upcoming trial. He knew the minute he saw her picture she was trouble. Not necessarily bad trouble, but trouble for his heart. When he sees her in person for the first time, he's nearly speechless. She's beautiful, but he keeps reminding himself his job is to protect her, nothing more.

Emily parents weren't nice people and were killed when she was eighteen in a car accident leaving her to get custody of her thirteen year old brother. She tried her best to show him love and raise him right, but he always ended up in trouble. This time, it's deadly. Emily will do anything to protect him, even if it means lying and putting herself in danger.

The chemistry between Con and Emily is intense. Both feel it, and both try to deny it. Emily finds herself falling in love not only with her protector Con, but his family also. They all see it, but Con is determined to do his job, even though his heart is telling him otherwise. How can he protect Emily though when she's not completely honest?

I absolutely loved this book, and I can't wait to read Gus' book and see more of these wonderful characters.

Liked this one from the first page. Of course I've also read Leverage.

Connall Brannock is a cop. He gets assigned a bodyguarding gig. He's not keen on it but an assignment is an assignment.

He gets the file on his charge. He also gets a photo. WOW. He's looking at one beautiful woman. Emily Dawson by name.

Seems Em witnessed a murder involving the brother of a mob boss. The brother is in jail and the mob boss wants Em dead. One officer has already been wounded defending her. The police got the job of keeping Em safe till the trial. Con's boss gave the assignment to Con.

Con isn't a player but he's had his share of flings with beautifull women. He also had one special woman who broke his heart. Something he will never forget when dealing with women.

Con is 6'3" and one drool worthy guy. He's also one hell of a cop.

Emily Dawson is blonde with green eyes and one hell of a body. She's also living a lie for the sake of her brother. A lie which will get folks hurt and has the potential to get her killed.

So begins one damned fine read.

This one has Con, Em, Gus, Liam, Luke, Ash, the importance of family, Ems brother Rayce, a mob boss, lies, deceit, a Con dealing with his feelings for Em and one pretty damned fine story with one hell of an ending and a good guy no one could have seen coming

Five Stars and then some
So I discovered this series thanks to author Tracie Redmond who mentioned it in her Guided Love book and it got me curious because when authors do that, it's because the books are amazing and well, this book series only proved me right lol

This is my review for the second book and my personal favorite of them all Conall's and Emily's story <3

While staying with his family after his little sister Aislinn is still recuperating from her injuries due to that awful drug case that almost costed her life, Conall Brannock receives a request from his captain in Denver to look out for a girl assigned to the Witness Protection Program. Conall doesn't like the babysitter role as he considers it a waste of his skills when he can actually go out there and arrest bad guys but an order from your captain is an order and being the son of a captain himself, he knows what's on the line. Once he gets the file of the witness he must protect, Conall's world is turned upside down the blonde girl is too beautiful and those green eyes of hers stir something inside him but he has no idea what that is or how to squash it when he has sworn to protect her.

Emily Dawson has committed herself to help the police arrest a bad guy but nobody knows she also has a secret. A secret that can jeopardize her entire world even with the protection of the silent but gorgeous cop assigned to protect her. She knows better than to actually get involved with him and bring him and his lovely family more drama but when she and Conall must fake to be dating in order to keep appearances and her safe from the bad guys looking for her, her will to stay away from him is put it to the test and she must do her best to ignore how good he looks with that damn suit he wears or when he does things no one ever did before like putting her above everything else.

Conall's and Emily's story is so amazing and so hot that they are by far my favorite couple. Jessica Wilde outdid herself with this one so give them a try and go read their story.
