This book is a fun read. It's surprising how well the P.S. quotes match the Tao. I never realized how many hilarious quotes were born out of Swayze's movies. I keep it on the coffee table, and someone always picks it up and flips through the pages, then asks where I bought it. The fact that they give all the profits to the American Cancer Society makes it all the more worthwhile. It makes a great gift.
Cute book. Thin. One quote per page. I think there could have been more effort put into this book in the way of backstories to the quotes. A cute gift for a Swayze fan but otherwise, save your money.
This is a fun read - it really is amazing how well the Swayze quotes and the Tao complement each other. Who'd a thunk it? Part of the fun of reading this book is remembering the movies from which the quotes are taken, and the author provides a nice summary at the end of the book in case you don't remember. Perhaps the author has another book in mind to follow this one. I agree with Trent - it's a unique gift, and the fact that the proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society makes it a worthwhile purchase. I definitely recommend this book if you want something to make you smile!
